The Pokémon Company launched the new foreign book ” Pokopia ” , which was launched at Nintendo Switch 2 in the spring of 2026, supporting 1-4 people to play.

Pokopia, the main character of Boco Dream, will be a human trainer who will take risks and interact with a world full of square pixels to build a home-friendly park from scratch.

Officially, it belongs to the “low-paced sandbox” type, which will be developed by a series of developers, Game Freak, in collaboration with Koei Tecmo Gomes.

The first public video revealed that players would initially explore the world as humanized genre trainers, and would share their skills with dreamers, such as learning leaves from the seed of a magic frog, and creating grasses on the ground, using a water gun to watch the Jani Tortoise learn to moist little grass.

As more and more skills become available, players will be able to change the world ‘ s landscape, collect stones and wood-making props, and even build facilities to attract a myriad of dreams and develop a whole town.

According to the official presentation, the time in the Pokopia game will be synchronized with the actual time and experience the changes in weather and the personality of the dreamers living there.

In the wake of the expansion of the city, there is also an opportunity for the player to invite the dreamer or other player, “a world full of unknowns and expectations, waiting for the player to expand”.

The trailer film also shows a short-term appearance of another, more colorful trainer, suggesting that there are some or more role elements in the game.

Many players have been surprised by the news, with just over a month away from the sale of the Boco Dream legend Z-A, the official focus on new and derived works such as the Boco Dream Champion, and almost no one expected to surprise the publication of the new Pokopia.

As the Dream of Chu/Twilight is almost three years old, the part of the Book of the Dreams has been silent for a long time, this time suddenly revealing three new works, and community speculation may be related to the 30th anniversary of the Dreams.

Pokopia is scheduled for sale in the spring of 2026 and for pre-purchase on November 12, 2025.
