The Heroes Alliance will be overhauled in 2027, but the fist says it won’t develop Heroes Alliance 2.
According to Bloomberg, Roit Games is preparing a radical renewal plan for the Heroes Alliance, which is not an independent new one, but a comprehensive reshuffle of existing games, which is expected to go online in 2027 and will be the largest update in the history of the game for nearly 16 years.

Core updates include: Full upgrade of the visual system:The complete recasting, including role models, user interfaces and callers’ canyon maps, will present a “new visual expression”. Client integration:A new game client will be fully integrated into the game, changing the current independent starter model. Add playlist elements:The introduction of some of the new play mechanisms based on the preservation of the core MOBA experience. Symbolic system adjustments:Optimises the choice of characters and free game decision-making mechanisms. Freshman experience innovation:A complete re-engineering of the new player-led system is designed to “create the best opportunity to pull friends into the pit”. However, Paul Bellezza, the executive producer of Heroes Alliance, emphasized in his statement that this is not Heroes Alliance 2: “We are often asked whether to develop Heroes Alliance 2, and the answer was and will remain negative. We remain committed to keeping the game up to date — to rebalancing every two weeks from the new paradigm to the hero.”

Andrei van Roon, Head of the Roit Game Studio, added that “most of the development teams” are currently engaged in this ambitious update, which will be on line by 2027, but some of the details remain undisclosed. The Heroes Alliance has maintained an alarming dynamism since it became operational in 2009, with more than 100 million active users now. The derivative ecology of MOBA, which was originally inspired by the self-defined map “DOTA” of Monsters III, has been extended to the digital card game “Lages of the Places of the Words”, the Heroes Alliance Handwalk, and the hot-run animated series “The Battle of Two Cities”. The field of electric competition also remains in the lead, with over 6.7 million people watching the S15 finals in Chengdu this year.

According to Bloomberg, the innovation will also optimize the back-office structure to improve the efficiency of future updates. In the 2014 re-evaluation, the media evaluated it as “a remarkable MOBA with a very deep, visible and large community”. This cross-cutting update marks the beginning of a new era of development for the game.
