Multi-neighborship acquisition of the Net Beat team, Beatstar and County Star, only six people left.

Following the acquisition of Next Beat by a multi-linguistic neighbouring country, only six employees are currently in operation at the latter ‘ s popular music games, Beatstar and Country Star. The outgoing CEO of NextBeat, Simon Hade, stated that, after many neighbouring countries had completed their transactions, the previous plans for financing and expanding the game were put on hold.

Many neighbouring countries announced last week that they would take over the Next Beat studio, and Simon Hyde revealed that the Beatstar and County Star, which are in charge of the Next Beat London studio, were not included in the deal in many neighbouring countries. This means that while 22 NextBeat employees are moving to multi-neighbor countries to develop music learning games, six employees will remain in NextBeat to continue to operate Beatstar and County Star.

The CEO explained that: “Multi-neighborships have not acquired NextBeat or games under the flag, the two entities are fully independent, and many neighbouring countries do not have any game assets or distribution rights. This is a team acquisition, not an asset acquisition. Beatstar and Country Star are still being issued under the SpaceApe account and are operated by NextBeat. This work is led by a six-person team that is not part of a number of neighbouring countries, so that there is no change at the operational level.”

He added that the remaining NextBeat team would “dispatch future plans when ready”. The game plans announced by NextBeat after breaking up from SpaceApe in January this year have now been suspended.

“In January of this year, our road map was to launch a new version of Beatstar, a particular musical genre, and to strengthen our brand in the field of games as a springboard for moving towards more ambitious goals,” Heide explained. “Our Arctic star goal is to expand to a broader area of consumer-type applications, especially learning-type applications, because Beatstar has proven that it can move the symmetrical rhythm of the professorship.”

“Next Beat’s stand-alone plans, including the search for investment and the list of expanded works, are now on hold. Our new mission is to help many neighbouring countries provide the best education in the world and to make it universal — from language to language, but now also include mathematics, chess and music, which is where our team specializes.”

With regard to the process leading up to this deal with a number of neighbouring countries, Simon Hyde indicated that his relationship with Space Ape and a number of neighbouring countries dates back to 2022, when for the first time a number of neighbouring countries had added musical panels to their application.

“We have established contacts and shared experiences with the music industry”, he said. “Olly Barnes, the co-founder of Next Beat, even assisted them in dealing with the authorization even after leaving SpaceApe. Thus, when we began to finance, we contacted a number of neighbouring countries in the hope that they would participate in the current round of financing and formalize cooperation.”

“As the financing process advances, the discussion becomes deeper,” Heide added. “Many neighbouring teams visited our London studio, and we went to Pittsburgh and New York to find out how they worked. At first, I hesitated to move from a studio with a multi-player game to a single application, which might be limited. But when we see their product methods and a broader vision, everything becomes clear.”
